Friends of the Harbor is committed to developing and maintaining our community while protecting working waterfront and expanding public access to the water for residents and visitors alike. We recognize the unique character of Boothbay Harbor, its fishing and maritime heritage and its strategic importance to the peninsula. Friends of the Harbor supports the voter and state approved 2015 Boothbay Harbor Comprehensive Plan.
Boothbay Harbor’s working waterfront was recently included in Maine’s “Most Endangered” list.
